Salmon River Update 10/14

Angela Wetzell stopped in the store after a great few days on the river.

Fishing continues to be outstanding with fresh Kings and Steelhead coming into the river daily. The river flow is 335 cfs with water temperatures in the upper 50′s

Today

Increasing clouds. Showers with a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. Warm. Early afternoon highs around 70…then temperatures falling into the mid 60s. Southeast winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph…becoming south. Chance of rain 90 percent.

Tonight

Showers. Windy and cooler with lows in the upper 40s. Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph…increasing to 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent.

Saturday

Showers in the morning…then lake effect showers in the afternoon. Some rumbles of thunder are possible. Very windy with highs around 50. Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph…increasing to 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent.

Lake effect showers in the evening…then showers overnight. Some rumbles of thunder are possible. Very windy with lows in the mid 40s. West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent.
